In an exciting match for third place in the VIII FIFUSA Futsal World Cup, Venezuela claimed victory over Argentina with a 2-0 score. The goals were scored by Eduardo Baracaldo and Jhonathan Rivas, sealing the win for "La Vinotinto" and ensuring their spot on the podium.

From the start, the game showed great intensity. Both teams sought to control the play from midfield, leading to a physical battle between the squads. In the 14th minute, Venezuela took the lead with a goal from Baracaldo after a precise pass from Ricxon Arguello, who had a great run down the left wing.

The match became more challenging for Argentina when, just two minutes later, Jesús Sánchez was sent off after receiving his second yellow card, leaving his team with one less player. Despite this disadvantage, Argentina continued to fight and came close to equalizing with a shot off the post from José María Carrizo.

Just before halftime, Jhonathan Rivas took advantage of a lethal counterattack, sprinting down the field to score Venezuela's second goal, giving his team a comfortable lead going into the break.

In the second half, Argentina tried to respond, but Venezuela's solid defense, along with an outstanding performance by goalkeeper Juan Ramírez, shut down any chances of a comeback. The match remained intense until the end, with cards and clashes between players, but the score remained unchanged.

With this victory, Venezuela celebrates third place in the FIFUSA World Cup, marking a significant achievement in their sporting history.
