Ushuaia, Argentina, is preparing to host the best of futsal from October 25 to 30, 2024. The southern city will be the venue for the third edition of the Intercontinental Cup, which will feature 12 teams from different countries, including those currently confirmed: Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Bolivia, Colombia, Chile, and France.
The good news from FIFUSA keeps coming. Following the successful hosting of the Men's Senior National Teams World Championship held from September 12 to 23 in Bucaramanga, Colombia, the Argentine Federation has officially confirmed the organization of the third edition of the Intercontinental Cup of Clubs, which will be the last international event of the season.
In a letter addressed to FIFUSA, Ushuaia’s mayor, Wálter Vuoto, expressed his enthusiasm for hosting this significant event. "It is an honor to confirm the realization of this super club event in its third edition," Vuoto stated.
The Argentine Confederation of Futsal will handle the organization, emphasizing that international events are key to the growth and recognition of the sport. "We are living in a very important time for the rebirth of our Federation," said Pedro Bonnettini, Vice President of FIFUSA.
With a high-level sports offering, Ushuaia positions itself as a key destination in the international futsal calendar, promising an unforgettable experience for both players and fans.
