Jockey de Mendoza and Flamengo de Comodoro Rivadavia will face off in a spectacular final of the FIFUSA Intercontinental Futsal Club Cup, taking place tonight in Ushuaia. Both Argentine teams earned their place in this decisive stage after eliminating their Bolivian and Australian counterparts, respectively.
The Mendoza side, reigning champions from the 2023 edition held in Telemaco Borba, Brazil, qualified first in Group B, winning all three of their matches. In the quarterfinals, they comfortably defeated Guerreros Pijaos from Colombia 6-1, and in the semifinals, they overcame Deportivo Amistad from Bolivia 3-1.
Meanwhile, Flamengo de Comodoro Rivadavia secured second place in Group C, behind Colorado from Brazil. They advanced to the final by defeating their fellow Argentinians from Casa Magallanes 8-2 in the quarterfinals and edging out Australia’s Futsal United 4-3 in the semifinals.
