This afternoon, the VIII FIFUSA Futsal World Cup continued with its final day of the tournament. The last match of Group C between Guatemala and Panama resulted in a 12-2 victory for the Panamanians.

The match began at an intense pace, with Panama clearly dominating the field. In the 3rd minute, Panamanian forward Edgar Rivas (#9) challenged a ball in Guatemala’s area that deflected off midfielder Jarol Hinotoza (#7), who wasted no time in scoring the first goal.

This opening goal seemed to trigger a chain reaction for the Panamanian team, who continued to pressure the Guatemalans. In the 5th minute, Jarol Hinotoza (#7) assisted Edgar Rivas (#9), who scored the second goal with a well-placed cross-shot, showing excellent coordination between the players.

Guatemala attempted to respond, and in the 6th minute, Jefferson Morales (#11) scored from the left wing, reducing Panama's lead. However, this relief was short-lived, as Panama continued to dominate the match.

In the 9th and 10th minutes, Panamanian player Brayan Hurst (#3) scored two consecutive goals, taking advantage of Guatemala's defensive disorganization. The second goal was particularly notable, with Hurst cutting in from the right wing and displaying exceptional technical skill.

Panama's dominance continued, and in the 12th minute, Jarol Hinotoza (#7) forced a save from the Guatemalan goalkeeper, resulting in a rebound that led to Panama's sixth goal.

Finally, in the 19th minute, Jarol Hinotoza (#7) of Panama weaved through two opponents down the center and scored the seventh goal, sealing a dominant first half for Panama.

Second Half:

In the 1st minute, Panamanian player Darío Hassan (#4) made a pass from the right wing to Edgar Bárcenas (#11), who struck the ball powerfully to score the first goal of the second half.

Two minutes later, at minute 3, Jarol Hinotoza (#7) of Panama intercepted the ball in front of Guatemala’s goal, and Adolfo Machado (#2) scored the second goal.

In the 10th minute, an own goal by Guatemala followed after a pass from Mario Rebolledo (#6) of Panama in Guatemala's area resulted in the ball ending up in the back of the net.

One minute later, Edgar Bárcenas (#11) of Panama scored his second goal of the match with ease.

At minute 15, Panama stole the ball from Guatemalan goalkeeper David Gonzalez (#4), and Carlos Bautista (#8) netted the fifth goal of the second half.

Finally, in the 19th minute, Guatemala managed to score through Edgar Rivas (#9), who received a pass from Josue Juaguarez (#10) in Panama's box and fired the ball into the net.
