The VIII FIFUSA Futsal World Cup continued with the third day of action, where France secured a clear 8-0 victory over Haiti in a match that showcased the Europeans' offensive power. France had previously lost 5-2 to Colombia, while Haiti was making its debut in the tournament.
The first half started evenly, with both teams showing good pace, but France quickly took control of the game. In the 2nd minute, El Majdour Youssep (#4) opened the scoring for the French. From that moment on, the European team imposed their dominance. Nepoty Sacha (#3) scored in the 14th minute, followed by a double from Bentallah Ali (#10) in the 17th and 18th minutes, and an additional goal from Mathieu Tessy (#8). France went into the break with a comfortable 5-0 lead.
In the second half, French dominance continued. El Majdour Youssep (#4) scored again in the 3rd minute, while Bentallah Ali (#10) completed his hat-trick with two consecutive goals in the 2nd and 3rd minutes of the second half. With this, France secured a final 8-0 victory, making it clear there was a significant gap between the two teams. The fast and precise play of the Europeans was key to the rout.
With this result, France recovered from their loss on the first day and now looks forward to their next opponent as they aim to continue advancing in the tournament. Haiti, on the other hand, will seek to reorganize and try to qualify for the next round in their upcoming match.
